there is a war going on against black athletes and no one is paying attention!

has anyone been paying attention to the war on black athletes? it's kind of blatant. it's been going on collectively for awhile but it starts with an individual black athlete as soon as one of them either makes a mistake, (plaxico burress) speaks their mind (marbury) or just doesn't give a fuck what anyone thinks because they are well - paid out of their ass (too many to mention). what kills the other side (media, talk show radio callers and self hating black people) is the fact that these athletes can do things that they can't do in a million years: jump, run and shoot at the highest level. it's not about the mistakes these athletes make or even continue making, it's about the fact that they have a gift and don't treasure it the way the haters would if they had that same gift. when someone like marbury has 22 million dollars it's hard for that hater to make sense of their life of ramen noodles and flat soda and subscriptions to internet porn. well i will keep on monitoring this war on black athletes and keep you posted on the wins and losses.

I think it's more of a war on stupid ass athletes. I don't feel any pity for these guys. You don't hear any WNBA players in trouble with the law. People get money that they never imagined having and they go wild. Just because they can bounce a ball, score a touchdown, or hit 60 home runs a season does not mean we should turn our heads when they mess up.

I have had hard time feeling pity or sympathy for anyone who makes millions and risks it on some dumb 'ish.

When will the athletes learn from one another.....do they believe that they are invincible. Law of physics--what goes up must come down..the man has set trap must we get caught in it?
