How is it that Bush (George W.) is able to pardon and commute over 100+ people (actually pardoned 14, and commuted the rest), which include John Forte' from the Fugees Refugee Camp Clique? He's due out on 22-December-08......... but then someone like Mumia Abu Jamaal is still on Death Row in Philadelphia????? WTF???

are you telling me that W. pardoned John Forte???? Damn, W. must've really liked that last Fugees album... It's just idiotic to pardon a drug dealing rapper like Forte, but not an accomplished political prisoner like Mumia, but then again we ARE talking about W.

I went to my first Free Mumia Abu Jamaal demonstration in NY,NY back in 1995 and have been hopeful ever since. I think Life in Prison is the best we'll see for him unless God grants him a miracle. I don't know if BO will touch this one---Clinton should have pardoned MAJ.
Nobody got killed with Forte'. Dubya wouldn't release brotha Jamaal because it would piss off the police and their families. Just like it would piss off the police and their families if Troy Davis is found not guilty. Let's pray for the brotha on Dec. 9, 2008.
