NOT REALLY. Tyler Perry is confusing to me as an African - American role model. I love his business sense and his ability to put his name in front of everything he does. Check his next movie, "Tyler Perry takes a dump". But the fact that this success comes in drag makes me ashamed. Call me uppity but seeing a Black man in a dress and laughing at the performance makes me ashamed. He's the man but at the same time he is only the man when he is a woman. I wonder if he goes into a MADEA voice when he is role - playing with his love? NO HOMO!
