Approaching age 35 I have no problem saying that I am over Halloween. First off, even though people treat it a such, it's not a real holiday. There is no day off from work and banks aren't closed. Costumes have become either tasteless, inappropriate or just reek of narcissism. Then there are the movies. Wow! Talk about an excuse to be devilish. Whether it is the Saw movies, Last House on The Left (6 pack I hear you laughing) or Halloween movie remakes by Rob Zombie - how much killing, raping and projectile blood can one person take? I'm over it!
