IT'S ALL IN THE NAME

Willie Randolph, The New York's Mets manager has been on the front pages of two of New York's daily newspapers and on the minds of baseball fans, radio talk show hosts and the press, most wanting him fired. Despite the fact that his team is laced with underachieving and overpaid ballplayers much of the blame has been put on Willie himself. To make matters even worse, when Willie was pressed as to why he thinks he has been getting such harsh treatment, he went and played the race card. Willie couldn't be more wrong, the fact of the matter is race isn't the reason why Willie hasn't been getting the fair treatment he feels he deserves. At least not this time. The true reason why Willie hasn't been getting the respect he deserves is because of his name. When you are over 50 you are just too old for anyone to be calling you "Willie". Let's face it, if he was going by the name William or Mr. Randolph not only would the press respect him, but the fans would love him and his team would be winning.
"Willie" is the name for the guy that cleans the clubhouse not the guy who manages it.

WHEN IS SHE GOING TO LEAVE?

Hillary Clinton has been throwing out a new argument every five seconds as to why she should win the Democratic Nomination instead Of Barack Obama despite the fact that she is behind in popular votes, pledged delegates and Superdelegates.
First the argument was that Barack Obama was inexperienced.
Then the argument was that despite him being in the lead, Barack Obama would make an even better Vice - President than President.
Then the argument was that she was a better candidate because she could win the general election against John Mccain.
Then the argument was that if she won she could get the votes from White people from hillbilly country.
Then the argument was that since Michigan and Florida had not been counted that Barack Obama winning the nomination would be disenfranchising those voters and thus making his nomination illegitimate.
At this point it all sounds like (pun not intended but it fits nonetheless) white noise and the only people listening are "bitter" voters that come from places in America where trailer parks are easier to find than shoes.

Her latest Clintonian argument is that staying in the race is necessary because, "hey you never know" someone might kill Barack Obama.
Anything can happen.
If I were Hillary I would not walk in any dark alleys anywhere around Michelle Obama.

Let's call it what it is?
The Clintons are desperate. They are tired. They are over. Bye and good riddance.
