Rerun was the dude. This was one of the shows that I would run home to watch and this is why:

I wish they would do a contemporary remake of this show because it was a good show and showed us in a light we are not normally seen in. I miss "What's Happening", "The White Shadow" and "Sanford and Son".
Ah those were the days...when we were naive enough to believe in people just randomly showed up at parties with a heavily rehearsed dance scene that looked as if they were just that rhythmic because they were black.
