Do you remember... Grand Puba?
Do you remember Grand Puba Maxwell? He was a founding member of The Brand Nubian and then branched off to pursue a solo career. Even though he gets slept on a lot when it comes to being one of the best emcees, Grand Puba is still the man in my book. His first album Reel to Reel was the shit and his second album, 2000 was solid. He was the first dude to explicitly talk about gear to the point where he was promoting clothing labels. Kanye and Jigga man owes alot to his swagger and rhyme scheme.

Man...songs like this make me forget about mortgage and ConEd bills. I didn't even realize he went by "Grand Puba Maxwell". His vibe was real nice, though...I remember him.
