Niggas Wit' Attitudes were my dudes. Of course there was the first version of the group with Ice Cube and then the darker, less comedic version without Cube. While I was a Cube guy the fact of the matter is that the music was mature, ill and most definitely better. Dre was arguably the best at these beats. What's better was that then they were visionary because they shot movie length videos that were dirty. They were Uncut and uncensored. They were awesome. I finally found the videos and decided to post them because they are POST WORTHY. The Kings of this Rated R shit. They were the bomb. There is no one more qualified to testify to who is the greatest out right now than Mos Def. In this video clip that is circulating around the Black blogosphere, Mos Def is paying homage to the masked villain himself, MF DOOM! It gets to the point that Def does such a good job reciting Doom's lyrics that you think that Def might have wrote them himself. I used to love Tribe. With a passion! they were the dudes. but at the end of the day it was really TIP'S group. This was the beginning of the end when they had peaked both commercially and musically.
