Killa Cam - One of the best ever?

Saw this on Bill Simmons' vanity website Grantland.com. One of their posters had entered this youtube video in a segment they call The Youtube Hall of Fame. After watching it I was elated to finally have some proof in my long running argument that Cam is pretty nice; Cam'ron is/has been doing his thing for a long time and it's time he gets his long deserved props.
Think about it:
- he has been around almost as long as Jay
- longer than Em
- while he has not made as much money or sold as many albums as either of them by a long shot he is still relevant in 2011 as his current album with Vado, Guns and Butter and their accompanying singles will attest.
- he and his Dipset movement continue to have a loyal fan base and continue to maintain a well - respected mainstream/underground movement repping Harlem (My Hood).
For those of you doubting my Stan when it comes to Cam check this video out from Rap City when he basically culled together a whole bunch of hooks into one cohesive freestyle.
Enjoy!

KILLA!

Say what you what about the high amount of websites but some do stand up. Gots to give a shout to the people that run hiphopbeef.com. They seem to have a lot of the exclusive shit. This clip is no exception. Here is a vid clip of Killa Cam rockin' it at the XXL Freshman Ten showcase. He was there to rep his act Vado but he still did some time. And I say this to a lot of people but they never agree with me; CAM has hits. He has a catalogue. He can perform about ten joints that the casual Hip Hop fan would know. Sometimes I have forgotten how long he has been around (almost 15 years). Check out this clip where Cam reps Harlem and Hip Hop.

classic material Cam going at 50

It's old but I loved the way CAM repped Harlem in his short lived Beef with Curtis (aka 50 cent). This video was the most gutter video by a platinum artist after they became platinum that I have ever seen

CAMRON - THE HARLEM KNIGHT IS BACK!

Cameron Giles AKA Killer Cam AKA Cam'rom is back.
According to a radio interview on StarandBucwild.com  Cam is plotting his comeback to the hip hop game. For those of you that forgot, Cam had gone at 50 during the winter and spring of 2007 with one of the illest diss - videos of all - time. But right when the beef was about to cook he just vanished.
Many speculated that Cam didn't want no beef with fif because he didn't have what it took lyrically or swagger - wise to go toe to toe with Ferrari. Not so says Cam.
Cam says that what took him out of the game was the fact that his mother had three strokes in one day and that he has spent much of the last year and a half nursing her back to health.
Now those respecting and missing the swagger of The Harlem Godfather himself can look forward to seeing him on the next cover of XXL. No doubt Cam will be explaining the situation between him, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana as well as his old/new? beef with Curtis jackson. Can't wait.
Personally I am looking forward to Cam's return because he is the only rapper that reps Harlem that has a national profile. To hear the interview click here.
