My favorite White girl Hall Of Fame!

Of all the authors that I love reading, Stephen King, Dan Brown, Claude Brown and myself of course, the one author that has a special place in my heart is Judy Blume.

By attending elementary school in the admittedly non - Black neighborhood on the Upper West side I was encouraged to read a lot of Judy Blume novels. Starting with Dear God, it's me Margaret and other classics like Super Fudge, Judy Blume always managed to enagage me even though her characters were not like me. I loved the way that she painted life of teenagers living in Manhattan. I also loved the way she wrote. Even though she was a female she didn't write like one (I know it's sexist for me to write that but hey this is my blog). Her words weren't flowery or her characters female concentrated. I forever will love Judy Blume. If I was single I would try and date her just so that she could tell me about all the characters that she wrote about. Okay and I would make her read Super fudge out loud while I banged her. There I said it!
