HEY XXL - HOW ABOUT A DEF JAM COVER WITH PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY WERE ON DEF JAM?

Did anyone see the XXL Def Jam cover? I liked the idea but it was not executed properly. At all! Can you believe they had the nerve to publish a cover without The Beastie Boys, LL COOL J or Public Enemy? Does that even make any sense? At the end of the day, P.E. made Def Jam great. The Beasties dropped only one album but they and their music were instrumental in making the label a premier place where artists went to to make great music. Where was Jay - Z or Kanye? Jeezy? Why do a cover at all? Just put the Israeli, the Phat farm guy, the real skinny guy and the guy with the beard that extends to his knees on the cover? As much as I respect most of those guys on the cover, the history of the label and the legacy of the music in no way has anything to do with Juelz Santana. Scarface? Warren G? Fab? Not really. Rick Ross? Nope! Luda wasn't even on there. Why Bother? Head chick in charge Vanessa Satten admitted that she overreached. Next time honey get the job done right or don't do it at all. YN would have made it happen!
