On 127th st. and Lenox Avenue and I ran into the source and genesis of HIP HOP Kool Herc. He was not only nice enough to take a picture with me but he was nice enough to allow me to kiss his ass (NO BRUNO) for about ten minutes in front of him and his camera crew. If you see me on Youtube saying things that sound like PURE HYPERBOLE concerning Herc and Hip Hop let me know. It was a nice thing to run into dude. It was like running into Ike Turner or Thomas Edison.

Random Sightings - Corey Glover

Do you remember the boy Corey Glover? The lead singer from Living Color? I ran into him the other day. He is actually married to a former colleague of mine so he was really cool. I told him that he was the reason why I ever wore spandex and listened to rock music. He even indulged me long enough to let me try and recite the Malcolm X intro on "Cult Of Personality". Was at the Gucci store (shameless plug) buying something for wifey (Brownie Points please) and I saw the boy Deron Williams from The Utah Jazz. At first I didn't know it was him. I thought he was some dude I knew from the block until I realized that I was in the Gucci store and I don't know anyone from the block that would be in The Gucci Store. He was there with his wife and baby. He was supercool told me his name when I asked him (cause I had forgotten who he was) and seemed like he enjoyed spending his money on wifey. random sightings - Marcella Lowery!

Once again I ran into Marcella Lowery. She has been in almost everything but most people remember her as the lady that played Donovan McNabb's mother in those ubiquitous and even more annoying Campbell Soup commercials. She is very nice every time I see her and says hello. Cool beans!

Random Sightings - Frank whaley

For some reason I always run into people in the Chelsea neighborhood! I ran into the dude Frank Whaley about two weeks ago on 23rd street. He was nice enough to say hi and kept it moving. He did seem to make an unnecessary stop because he thought I was stalking him but hey it was a random sighting! He was in Pulp Fiction and some other shit! You should recognize him!

Random Sightings - Carson Kressley

Saw Dude in Chelsea. What a surprise! He nodded but didn't say anything! He acted like he was a big star. Whatever, Hollywood will find another gay dude to be THEE style icon next week.

RANDOM SIGHTINGS - FLO ANTHONY!

Ran into Flo Anthony at Sylvia's. She was super nice to me even though I mistook her for the woman from Sister to Sister. Hopefully one day she will be gossiping about me and my indiscretions.

RANDOM SIGHTINGS - NILE RODGERS

Of all the people that I ran into this has got to be one of the coolest dudes. He was so kind that he agreed not only to take one picture but two pictures with yours truly. He was gracious and honestly, I think he was touched that someone recognized him. I have always been a fan but now I am a loyal fan. Here we are taking a picture at the BWI airport train station.

RANDOM SIGHTINGS! P - DIDDY!

No one is a bigger hater of Sean Combs than I am but I have to admit I acted like a real groupie the day that I ran into him with my wife, butterfly and single sister in D.C.. Not only did I practically knock his bodyguard over in my quest to take a picture but I scared my wife into taking a blurry picture. She did her best though, as evidenced by both of these pictures.

Random Sightings.. Tony Dungy

During my visit to DC I ran into Tony Dungy. Of all the people that I would think he would be the one guy that one would expect would be the nicest but NOOOOOOOOOO he wouldn't even stop and take a photo with me. Isn't he supposed to be the Christian guy that is SOOOOOOOOO nice? Well when I approached him for a picture not only did he say no and give me a look like I smelled really bad but he even put his suit bag over his head. What a jerk. Look I know that not everyone is going to stop and take a picture with me but Tony Dungy? The first Black coach to win the Super Bowl not stopping for a Brother like the CEbrO of Harlem Hubris? Damn, I was totally disappointed. Next time Tony. And believe me, there will be a next time.

random sightings - paul mooney

is paul mooney on crack? i saw him today on 125th st. and he did not look healthy. people always ask me whether or not i have heard if he was on crack or not i always would say no. now i won't say anything. when i asked him to take a picture with me he didn't say no, he barked it...twice. he then told me that if i wanted a picture that i should come to one of his shows. he then walked into the discount store paramount. i have heard of him going into the dollar store to buy meat and screaming at a worker while ordering taco bell. let me put it to you like this: if paul mooney isn't on crack then he should be, because smoking crack can't be that much worse than being seen on 125th st. eating dollar store meat, at taco bell or shopping at a discount store when you should have money.

the other day i ran into old - school recording artist, nikki d. remember her? she made a song called, "letting off steam" and a song that starred a then unknown Treach in the video called, "daddy's little girl" she was very nice when i asked her was she nikki d. and then preceded to tell me that she had a 19 year old son and some reality show prospects. even though i respected her as an artist, the reason why i always remembered her wasn't because of her music it was because of her huge breasts that seemed to want to come out of her jumpsuit in her video for "letting off steam" check it out and see what i'm talking about:

Random sightings - Veronica Webb

Living in New York, you see a lot of people. All types of people. Famous people, people you know and most times people you wish that you hadn’t seen. Well the other day I ran into one of the most beautiful women on earth: Veronica Webb. 

Not only was she super sweet but she had the nerve to make me think that I had a chance at taking her out on a date. It was weird. 

Anyway she was super duper sweet and that was a random sighting that worked for me.
