do you remember...HE - MAN and his twin sister SHE - RA?

Do you remember He - Man and the MAsters Of the Universe? This was not only crazy but it turned out to be the gayest cartoon ever. He - Man was really prince that had a high voice and a gay cat. But when he pulled out his big "Sword" he became He - Man a big buff warrior for castle Grayskull and his kingdom. If they make this into a feature film, I would recommend that if you are a man and straight that you don't see it in Chelsea, Mission or any other gay neighborhood in America. You may see some things in the theater that you were not prepared for.

Then it was time to take it to the next level. The Producers realized they had a gold mine with He -  Man and the toys that they were selling (the real secret of the 80's cartoon biz was that all of the cartoons were toys first. The cartoons were de facto commercials that soon became bigger than the toys) so they decided to get into the girl game. He _ man all of a sudden had a twin sister that had been separated from and his family at birth. She coincidentally enough had powers and was coincidentally enough fighting a villain Hordeak (Sp) that taught Skeletor, He- Man's nemesis the bad guy game. It really got ridiculous and jump the shark stupid but here it is; The intro for those of you that remember SHE  - RA:

OMG, I never realized just how high-pitched He-Man's voice was! But he still had those bulging biceps when he was the high-voiced Prince...

Thanks for a fun trip down memory lane!

See my comments for Thundercats. In these it was more blatant. But I won't start, cause I write about this a lot and you'll have to wait for that book.

a little story - I was a big He-Man fan, not so much She-ra. And I asked for castle grayskull for christmas. Sat on santa's lap at Macy's, told him what I wanted, and he said that little girls should want dolls, not castle grayskull. Uh, He-man is a doll.

She-ra was an absolute disgrace... every episode she ended up on her back crying out, "He-Man I need your help.. He-Man"... that really pissed me off.. you are supposed to be the strongest woman in the world.. but the minute skelator comes up behing you and shouts "boo"... you are on your back crying for help... *insert eye roll here*

...I felt disrespected when they tried to remake this show just a few years ago.
