I am glad that someone said what I said but no one else heard. Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, in his statement on his team's website acted like he owned Lebron and like Lebron owed him something besides the seven years of play on the court and the hundreds of millions of dollars that Lebron already made for him. Fuck Dan Gilbert. Lebron wanted to leave. Get over it! Why is Jesse Jackson the only man that went on the record with the slave - master relationship that Dan Gilbert portrayed when he made his statement? Why is a man over 70 making this statement? Where is Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson? Why aren't they coming to Lebron James' defense in choosing where he wants to play? What kind of men are they? I thought Charles was outspoken? I thought he was the militant Black athlete that said what was ever on his mind. So why is it that the only statement he makes is a statement crtitcal of the chosen one? What part of the game is that, Chuck? Michael Jordan now an owner still pretends like he is a player looking for his next contract. Why isn't he saying anything to refute Gilbert's statements? And only something that is a shot at James. And Earvin? Where is he? Where is the guy that can stop the world with his smile? Quiet. And so it's left to Jesse Jackson, an old man in the game to come to the defense of a 25 year old multi - millionaire. This is why Black men can never work together because they rarely get each other's backs in moments like this. The old heads should be ashamed of their behavior. I am!

Top ten reasons why I might have to stop seeing films at The Magic Johnson movie theater:

10. Tired of explaining to ignorant customers that it's not being white to just watch the movie  

and not talk to the screen. 

9. Slow - ass Welfare to Workfare employees that want to give you your snacks after the movie even though you stood in the line 15 minutes before it started.
8. I actually have this crazy idea that when you pay to see a movie you should also be able to      

see it as well.
7. Showtimes that are listed 45 minutes early to make up for C.P. time.
6. 45 minute previews.
5. Idiot CellPhone conversations that are longer than the actual film.
4. Sitting next to babies is one thing, sitting next to babies at the movies is another but when I

have to sit next to children in an R - rated movie after 10 that's just ridiculous.
3. Because some of the people that sit in the theater at Magic haven't grasped the idea that the

characters in the movie don't talk back to you just because you are yelling at them.
2. Tired of putting my woman in harm's way after ever near fight that I get into with a rude

idiot that refuses to shut the fuck up.

AND THE NUMBER ONE REASON why I might have to stop seeing films at The Magic Johnson Movie theater...

Random blogging - I have got to stop going to the Magic Johnson Theater Part #1

Magic Johnson is my neighborhood theater. Period! I am stubborn and refuse to stop going there because it is in my neighborhood. It doesn't make sense to go downtown and spend money to watch a film that I can see ten minutes away. It is basically a Brown vs. Board of Education of Topeka situation.

But with that being said: I have got to stop going.

The Ninjas in there are making it crazy. I saw the Watchmen with my wife at the 10:45 show and boy the ninjas in there make it UNBEARABLE! One guy that lucky for me sat right next to me kept saying out loud to anyone that would listen and that would be all of us because he was yelling, "this movie us trash." But wouldn't leave for two hours. Now I am a veteran of Magic and I have been patronizing it as long as it's been open but it's getting ridiculous.

Understand this: I am true believer. My brother/BFF (NO HOMO) Krispin Gault just doesn't go. He would rather go downtown then have to listen to dumb ninjas talk through the movie and show no respect to others. My wife and I have been snubbed by couples people because they would refuse to go to the theater because they didn't want to put up with the bullshit. I am gettting close to that point.
